Information You can use any combination of selection options to narrow your search for courses. You must choose at least one subject. Multiple subjects can be selected by dragging the mouse over two or more courses, or holding the Ctrl key while clicking on desired subjects. When selecting by course number range, you must enter a low and a high number. When your selection is complete, choose Get Courses to perform the search.

Description: This course is a continuation of Chemistry for Life Science I, designed for students who require an understanding of a wide range of chemistry topics but not intending to major in a science. Discussions will continue in organic chemistry, exploring topics such as important functional groups in organic chemistry and their functionality in drugs. In addition, topics in biochemistry will also be considered, including chemical messengers, enzymes, energy and vitamins. Metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and amino acids will also be discussed. Prerequisites: CHEM 2010 Corequisites: None Restrictions: Open ONLY to students accepted into the Nursing Program
