You can use any combination of selection options to narrow your search for courses. You must choose at least one subject. Multiple subjects can be selected by dragging the mouse over two or more courses, or holding the Ctrl key while clicking on desired subjects. GSS 2446 - PERSPECTIVES ON SEXUAL ORIENTATION |
This course is intended as an introduction to the phenomenon of sexual orientation in humans, from a social science perspective. We will examine the origins of same-sex sexual behavior and sexual identity from different social sciences perspectives: anthropology, biology, history, psychology, and sociology. Further, we will study the construction of homosexuality across different societies and time periods and critically analyze the historical effect of these constructions on individuals who have adopted these identities.
