Information You can use any combination of selection options to narrow your search for courses. You must choose at least one subject. Multiple subjects can be selected by dragging the mouse over two or more courses, or holding the Ctrl key while clicking on desired subjects. When selecting by course number range, you must enter a low and a high number. When your selection is complete, choose Get Courses to perform the search.

COMM 2103 - WRITING FOR THE MEDIA
Prerequisite: Open only to COMM majors.
Writing course (W1).

This is an intensive writing course designed to introduce to students the various forms of writing for the mass media. The course covers a host of writing formats and styles all tailored to the specific medium and the target audience. The types of writing include news stories, feature stories, press releases, speeches, letters, web writing and broadcast newscasts.
