GNM 2190 - EXTINCT AND THREATENED LIFE
The role of mankind and other factors in the extinction, and the threat of extinction, of animals and plants world wide. Considers the effects of habitat alteration, commercial and sport hunting, pesticides, and the rampant increase in the population of humans, global climate change, as well as the biology of species that makes some plants and animals particularly susceptible to extinction while others survive or even flourish.
