GIS 3662 - WILL GENOCIDE EVER END?
Open only to juniors and seniors.
International/multicultural course (I).
Our ability to predict the occurrence of genocide may be markedly more sophisticated today than it was in the past, but our ability to prevent genocide does not seem to be more effective today than it was in the past. This course focuses on genocide's persistence in human history, tries to explain its persistence, and observe its mechanisms. It also tries to ask in what ways the recurrence of genocide might be halted.
