This course requires access to a reliable computer with CD-ROM, Internet, and e-mail capabilities. The course focuses on the lifestyle components that encourage wellness. It encompasses all areas of health including a person's physical, emotional, social, intellectual, environmental and spiritual well-being. In addition, the course examines the impact of aging, chronic disease and communicable disease, substance abuse, and injuries on health and wellness as well as current issues in health care delivery.
