ENVL 3242 - ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY: SCIENCE AND LAW |
Prerequisite: ENVL 2100, ENVL 2200, ENVL 2400, ENVL 2600 AND CHEM 2110.
This course utilizes case studies of known polluted sites to demonstrate the role of environmental professionals in investigating, remediating and determining legal responsibility for clean-up. It focuses on a variety of environmental media (air, groundwater and soil pollution) and addresses process safety and risk management concerning hazardous substances.
