Information You can use any combination of selection options to narrow your search for courses. You must choose at least one subject. EDUC 4150 - METHODS OF TEACHING ELEMENTARY MATH
Prerequisite: EDUC 3101, EDUC 3200, EDUC 3105 with a grade of B- or better.
Corequisite: EDUC 4110, EDUC 4600, EDUC 4610.
Permission of the program required.

Methods and curriculum in mathematics instruction for prospective elementary school teachers. The course emphasizes the connections between educational theory and practice. Topics include setting instructional objectives; planning lessons and units; using, adapting and developing instructional materials; implementing alternative teaching models and techniques; integrating mathematics in other content areas; and assessing student learning.
