GIS 4630 - ADS, FADS AND CONSUMER CULTURE
Open only to juniors and seniors.
Students explore the transformative, pervasive, and deeply imbedded historical and cultural roots of advertising and communication in American society. The social history of advertising and the techniques, strategies, and campaigns that reshaped and defined American culture during the 20th century are also discussed.
