SOCY 3650 - THE PATHS TO U.S. CITIZENSHIP
International/Multicultural Course (I). Not open to those with credit for SOCY 2745. Through critical examination of the U.S. immigration and naturalization process, this course will inform students about the various and complex paths to U.S. citizenship. Students are required to attend and assist community-based naturalization classes facilitated by the Stockton Center for Community Engagement during class times. Students will also participate in readings, reflections, analysis, and discussions of citizenship as it is understood in the U.S. today. Faculty: J. Finch
