GSS 2198 - CANNABIS LAW |
The historical use of cannabis among various populations in the US and subsequent federal prohibition. The course will identify the racial, political and economic motivations for federal proscription since starting with the Controlled Substances Act and the social justice movement and its efforts behind recent states’ laws which decriminalize, and legalize cannabis.
