GIS 3205 - BATTERED CHILDREN: SOCIAL CONSTRUCT |
Open only to juniors and seniors. In this course students will use a critical thinking lens to guide their understanding of child maltreatment from the perspectives of the fields of medicine, social work, psychology, public health, and law. Students will explore the social construction of child abuse, etiology, and societal implications.
