GERO 2107 - AGING AND HEALTH |
Prerequisite: Not open to students with credit for GERO 2707. This course will enable students to identify physical changes that affect all body systems and the common acute and chronic illnesses experienced by older adults. Normal aging and successful aging will be studied, as well as mental health issues. Health promotion, health protection, preventive services, ethical issues, health insurance, and other selected topics will be discussed. This course is sometimes offered as a tutorial, GERO 2707.
