GEN 3161 - PERSONAL INVESTING
Not open to business majors. Open only to juniors and seniors.
Requires no prior courses in accounting, finance or economics. Provides the information necessary to select various types of investments, taking into consideration risk and reward. Includes savings accounts, common stock, preferred stock, bonds, investment companies, real estate, and other forms of investing. Concentrates on the planning and management of an investment program. Heavy use of computer and Internet applications.
