GEN 1138 - PERSPECTIVES ON CHILDHOOD |
This course is open to all students and is the foundation course for the Childhood Studies minor. An overview of childhood will be investigated from historical, developmental, and contemporary perspectives. Global, cultural, social, political, economic, environmental, and educational issues affecting children and children’s rights will be explored. Social media, the arts and literature and their effects on childhood will also be explored.
