GAH 2402 - INTRODUCTION TO DEAF STUDIES |
Values/Ethics Course. An introduction to the academic study of Deafness and Deaf Culture. Rather than viewing deafness from a medical perspective, we’ll examine the art, literature, film and history of Deaf people, and seek to understand Deafness as a minority culture and community bound by a shared language, American Sign Language (ASL).
