Historical consciousness course (H). This course will examine Anti-Semitism from antiquity to the modern era. It will explore relations between the Jews and the peoples of antiquity, the development of stereotypes and violence against the Jews in the Middle Ages. It will consider the Holocaust, and contemporary attitudes.
