Prerequisite:COMM 2301 with a grade of C or better. Open to COMM majors only. Not open to Freshmen. International/Multicultural course (“I”) Companies and organizations often conduct public relations campaigns and projects globally. Practitioners need to know how global public relations programs are planned, implemented, and evaluated. Global Public Relations course cultivates students’ cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness. Students will evaluate international and intercultural PR campaigns and learn to critique the strategies and tactics used in specific global PR programs. This course also teaches students how to apply PR strategic planning skills and media tactics to improve real-life global PR campaigns. Faculty: X.
