Formerly titled Public Relations. Open Only to COMM Majors. This course is designed to provide an understanding of the function of public relations within an organization, the role of the public relations professional, and the range of issues handled by a public relations staff. Organizations, companies, institutions, and governments understand that it is critical to communicate with the variety of publics they serve. The public relations professional is the liaison and key communicator between these publics and the organization.
