PUBH 2432 - CONTEMPORARY HEALTH ISSUES |
Prerequisite: Not open to students who have completed GEN 1406, GNM 2151, GNM 2179, GNM 2336 or an equivalent health course. Values/Ethics course (V). A survey of current health issues critical to all individuals. Discussions include topics in sexuality, substance use, fitness, stress, and more. The impact of lifestyle and behavior on health and well-being is examined. Health related information including conventional as well as complementary and alternative medicine will be analyzed throughout the course. Emphasis is placed on understanding issues pertinent to making choices in personal health behavior. Faculty: E.
