Pre-requisite: Satisfactory completion (C or higher) of at least one course with a W-1 Designation
Designed to give students the opportunity to improve their writing skills while pursuing interests in science, technology, and health. Students learn medical terminology, editing, revision skills, and basic research methods. Students also become familiar with business and scientific writing, professional oral communication, privacy laws, and evaluation of health information. Students will develop these skills through in-class and at-home activities and individual and group projects.
