Prerequisite: FINA 3110 or FINA 3115 with a grade of "C" or better, and MGMT 3110 or MGMT 2110 with a grade of "C" or better, and BSNS 2120 with a grade of "C" or better. Open only to juniors and seniors. An overview of profit planning and control with a major focus on the development of profit plans and variable budgets. Other topics include cost-volume-profit analysis, performance reports and variation analysis, contribution accounting, standard cost, special planning and control problems, and forecasting techniques.
