HLTH 1101 - INTRODUCTION TO THE HEALTH SCIENCES |
This two-semester introductory course begins with a definition of the health sciences as a coherent group of disciplines addressing prevention, clinical, therapeutic, and administrative health care practices, and the academic areas of study. Concepts of health, trends, service delivery, career opportunities, and relationships among those fields will be stressed.
